Home Secretary In Hate Crime Row.......

This is how it works scare people from talking about such things by accusing them of a

" hate crime " even though nothing came of it . And it will stop others from broaching the subject for fear of being arrested for racism.

Apparently, this was recorded by West Midlands police as a 'hate incident', because no crime had been committed.

Which begs the question, "If no crime was committed, why are the police keeping any record of it ?"

Because they keep a record of all reports made to them?

But they don't get on the news, when no crime has been committed !

But you asked why the police are keeping a record of it, not why the press are reporting on it?

It's in the news because the person who made the complaint went to the press with the reply from the police.
