bird 10,014 Posted January 9, 2017 Report Share Posted January 9, 2017 a woman i see few times on my dog walk had a staff x type bitch, about 23-24in maybe bit of boxer in it, young rescue dog , nice temp. But it was totally out of control , would run around all over the place, if it was off the lead. .The woman was hungarian , not very good english , she see my 2 dogs off the lead , and she loose hers. Well my 2 are very biddable , Bryn dont really move that far away , Buck will play with other dogs, and likes to, but will come back if called, the only time he piss off if he seen a wild animal , which he as done few times lol, but he biddable no prob. Many a time her dog played with Buck , and ive carried on my walk , but her dog come to , and ive had to take it back to her few times . The last time i told her straight as best as could , i said keep the dog on the lead, and try to train it, or take to a class of some sort, because if you dont the dog will get killed on the road, and people could get hurt in a car, and i did blast at her to get it sunk in . Anyway the other day a bloke told me the dog had been killed hit by a car, some people will never learn Quote Link to post Share on other sites

General lee 979 Posted January 9, 2017 Report Share Posted January 9, 2017 I got a few friends at feltham anyone that knows feltham knows its very busy with loads of traffic and train tracks right through the middle well they have a German Shepard just a pet really but it's never in a pen or on a chain it wonders over roads through car parks and across train tracks it must be about seven now and never been hit fxxk knows how it does it Quote Link to post Share on other sites

She look at my 2 dogs loose , (no) leads and walking about enjoying the walk, but both have had lot of time put in to them, prob Buck bit more than Bryn, as Buck more of a full on type dog when ive worked him , than Bryn ever been. But not hunting Buck spot on well behaved no prob . So she thought she could do the same i reckon , with her rescue dog , and the dogs paid the price with its life though ignorance feckin shame i think . Quote Link to post Share on other sites

It be worth while learning off them how not to get run over. There is a farm few miles away. The house is on side of the main road and the yard on the other. Haiddheliwr 1,911 Posted January 9, 2017 Report Share Posted January 9, 2017 Not quite the same Ray but when I had the farm a neighbour at a house about two fields away had a rescue dog a border collie brought it home took it in the garden immediately jumped the fence and walked on to the yard of a neighbouring sheep farm! End of story. I had warned her that she would have to walk it on the lead until they gained each others trust but no in one ear out the other! Quote Link to post Share on other sites
