Jonjon79 13,358
I can't seem to use scoped NV - they make me feel dizzy. I tried that posh bit of kit that Davids got - it was really nice and clear, just not for me. I like the add on kits with a little screen - I think they're a kind of half way house between lamping and scoped NV systems. It works for me 2 Quote Link to post

I bought this to see if I could get on with it. Time will tell once I get out with it. I know I won't lose money on it at the price I paid so I'm not too bothered if I don't like it Quote Link to post
RSVNelly 518
I like NV but hate the setting up process, it's just a bloody nightmare! I don't really want a gun set up for just one thing I'd like to have the flexibility to change it around a bit, however after Saturdays chew on it looks like that has now gone out the window Completely different subject, "I f**king loves that HW Sean, gis it lol" Quote Link to post
mark williams 7,568
Not into night vision/ shooting myself but that`s not to say I don`t hunt through the night,- all night. Never lets me down, no batteries required, cheap to make and run. The can of " lubricant" is for me while they do my work for me. atb 2 Quote Link to post

philpot 5,122
Hey Sean, I see you have just bought a NiteSite Viper and WHAT a price. I know a dedicated night scope may be the dogs danglers but a Pulsar is too expensive for me and even the D700/800 is bloody high. I can pick up a Photon for about £300 but as said usually need an extra lens to give the best results. My Viper suits me but it must be said that I don't do a lot of night shooting so cannot justify spending more, perhaps if that changes I may go for a D700/800 add on and confess I would love to try one but having never seen one in the flesh, don't really know what they are like, only know that Mitch rates them along with a few good reviews I have read. Rabid 1,936
I tried add ons, and ones with a screen, couldn't get on with either, dedicated is certainly the way forward for me, would have liked something lighter and not so bulky than the n870lrf, hey ho, it works well, and the range finding is awesome. 1 Quote Link to post

Phil Phil I could not believe the price; I thought it was a mistake mate !! Also bought a mambalite to put on the new hw100; if I don't like the nitesite viper that will go the journey mate 1 Quote Link to post

Same here but the only add on i liked was the Ward D-700 , they have a new one out the 800 But £800 ,for that you can pick up a second hand Pulsar 870LRF 1 Quote Link to post

Hence I went dedicated in the end and never looked back. 1 Quote Link to post
