Went there on my stag do (1978) got out the minibus outside and we got filled in by a coachload of Scousers who were visiting ffs Cheers, D. That made me lol Once got into a battle of epic propotions in Monroes in Blackburn for laughing at some Joe Raki doing karate dance moves did you ever go in jazzy kecks in blackburn? that was a rum old do....... what was the club in blackpool with the glass dance floor, and all the pervs would stand underneath hoping for an eyeful but in fact it was so smeared with fag ash and booze and vomit that you could barely see a thing, likeit was foggy Quote Link to post Share on other sites

This doesn't bother me! As has been said before, It's the character not the colour I'll be judging I can't say much really, I've been around most of Europe and north and Latin America ??? As far as we know she wasn't getting f****d at all. Comparisons between different breeds of dogs are pretty whacko in this day and age. I always go with what Martin Luther King said " a person should be judged by the content of their character and not by the colour of their skin". As for 'my way or the highway' parenting, that's bollocks in this day and age. My old fella brought us up that way, he was big on unreasonable rules...... he would lock the door at ten 'o' clock regardless of who was in or out. Result? We all left home before we should have and rarely spoke to him again. Very sad. I'm not saying I was a perfect parent.But I accepted that when my boys got into their teens they came home at all hours, sometimes half pissed or stoned. Sometimes I was aware they'd snuck a girl into their rooms. I pretended I didn't know. The only two things i can remember lecturing about was tobacco smoking and contraception. Result? My kids are still my friends. If they had married a black/yellow or sky blue pink girl I genuinely would not care at all. Colour for me is honestly not an issue. Wilf, I very rarely agree with your posts and presumably you return the compliment so I won't be posting again on this topic. Happy New year and prepare for West Ham to be slaughtered tomorrow night.
