It's a must! :-)

Here's a couple for memories..

'kin hell NICE to all. Fools gold 12" was one of the bits of vinyl I lost to an ex, she loved them as much as me and we used to listen to Sally Cinamon on vinyl together when we first met., the funnie

Technics 1200s is what I have old school with concord cartridges a good single 1200 would set you back £500 - £800 I paid £250 for a pair back in the day

1210's were the bollocks had a pair after I started out with the gemini's-deeply regret selling them and the few thousand vinyls I had at the time-my mate still has most of the white labels and all the hip hop I collected from 87 to 98 as he still does the odd gig.not done it for a while but do still enjoy donning some headfones and spinning and scratching some beats.atb dc

I recently weighed all my cds in as now it's totally pointless wasting all that space on something that you can hear in secs with a few taps In a phone

I am too young for vinyl but I loved the thrill of my friends looking at my cds and asking "whose this" or what's that album

Music is dead now to me, I know what bands I like and I'm not I interested in finding more , If it doesn't sound like guns n roses I'm not excited enough to care lol

One mistake I did make though a few years ago was binning about 45 blank unopened mini disk

Cartridges

They were going for 5 times what I paid for them on eBay as amateur bands prefer to record their music on that format as opposed to MP3 pish

Wow! I find that post so sad....haha

I worked with a lad some years back who was into music like me, but had never ventured into a record shop! He didn't get me at all...haha

'Music is Dead' you should get a tshirt made up with that! Haha

lol I admit that the staff at the place I chopped them in at were amazed as well ,nearly 800 cds in total

Told the story of my life , oasis singles complete to dyer know what I mean , originals not rereleased,

There was five I struggled to part with

Appetite for destruction

Sparkle and fade by everclear

Never mind

It takes a nation of millions

And Garth brooks greatest hits lol

No other reason than sentiment and nostalgia

Then thought f**k it, its only plastic and f****d them off

I can't stand record shops now, it annoys me seeing AC/DC album covers on t shirts in top shop as well

I didn't mean all that, I meant the bit about music being dead & no interest in hearing new stuff. As a music fan that seems totally alien to me, I can't stop!, but I guess if you've found your 'thing'......

Well I have just looked in the cabinet with a view to letting you know some of my favourites. Big mistake. There's about 200 in there. Lol. Anyone wishing to listen to some real good vinyl should have a go at Steppenwolf. Also Dark side of the moon. Crikey there's loads. Jok.
