Fox Calling Daytime.pre Ban.

Been reading a few threads about daytime fox calling.

Any of you done much of it.pre ban.

I seen a few vids on youtube.autralian lads calling them in daytime.

Just wondering if many lads have success with it over here.

Yer I've seen them called in the day aswell but I've not had much success meself in the day. Many I time I've sat up somewhere with the dog and started squealing I've allways found there abit more wary in the day compared to a good still night ??

Have caught a few every season calling them out of bogs and furs.works well start of season.

TOMO will remember,i am sure he mentioned the guy before but theres a DVD out showing an aussie guy shooting loads in daytime after calling them in,done it once or twice with urban fox.

I have only managed it once or twice with day time/evening adult foxes. I find even cubs don't fall for it, but on a snowy night, if you can get into a good position without crunching up and making too much noise they can be squeaked up pretty well

i have done alot! if you get it right with wind and you position you can have a good do......

 

few lads off here have seen me call foxes in broad daylight pre ban......and the same lads have seen my useless mutts miss them straight after lol

Iv squeaked a few in daytime, never come in like they do at night mind. Maybe in woods or cover but never had any daytime come full speed across an open field at me.

Whats the best positioning you've found works best lads.

Edge of a ravine.1 side of a small valley.calling near small woods etc.

Some success at first light, getting there in the dark but as the lads say night is definitely best! Surprising how many times charlie emerges from a wood when calling by night unless you surprise them mooching in the fields!

Thats The one mate,he is the same guy who caught a great white on handline and shot it with a shotgun.
