Whats The Best Boot

Anyone had any meindles or hanwag boots resoled and what was the costs and time getting them back after being resoled.

Only ever had altbergs resoled mate but I’m literally few mile away from the factory/shop, an cos iv done few favours for them an took folk up to get new boots then they done mine free an it only took about 48 hours or so

These Hanwags I have their is still a decent tread on them though the heel part is more worn down though i wear them every day on a walk out before work and walk down a few roads and paved paths that wear them down i suppose.

I swear by Hanwag, the leather is second to none,  the problem they have these days is the foam rubber shit they've packed out in the heal. I've a pair here that need resoling,  any recommendations company wise ?

I used  local shop last time and their work was shite, they didn't last a month before they went in the bin.

I think after this coming winter I will look into getting my Hanwag tatras resoled and send them to Hanwag were i purchased them from mate though I don't know what it costs to have them resoled with Hanwag. Like I said in previous posts there the best boots I have ever owned and it was the wide fitting I was drawn to in buying a pair I can't fault them tbh.

Plenty on the market just look and take time selecting a pair nice and comfortable are the best as you know you be wearing them not like women plenty of shoes in the wardrobe to suit what ever your wear

Don't  think a pair of jimmy choos would stand up to the rigours of walking muddy fields and going through woods and cover tbh.

Zamberlan (the heavier models) can be a bugger to break in, but mine are still top notch 4 years in, and as comfortable as slippers.
