Jeyes Fluid On Dogs Yes Or No?

Now in the past I've heard people say they won't even use jeyes to clean there kennels as it's supposedly a dog killer. But I've also heard several times now that diluted jeyes sprayed on a dogs coat is the best flea/tick treatment. What's your views and opinions lads ??

Because that fella was probably told that by a money grabbing vet. I've been told by a few old dog men now that's it's he bollocks.

Fair anuf if you trust these old dog men go for it .but I wouldnt mate that stuff smells toxic to me. Im sure there much better stuff out there desined for the job

It that easy these day to sort fleas out, why spray them with jays? I heard it all but don't mean iam going to dip them in a barrel of used oil to treat mange....

 

 

I rate it around the garden ect, and when I used to have kennels I used it also... But it's abit over priced these's days go to a farmers shop and buy big bottles of disinfection washes for a fresh smell

Advocate spot on or similar and you won't get any trouble from fleas.

 

I wouldn't spray any disinfectant on my dogs. If nothing else it wouldn't do the coat any good.

I use jeyes on the kennel, says on the tin it's fine to use for animal pens.

Ive used jeyes for last 30+ years to clean kennel, run , slabs etc no probs but never heard of spraying dogs with it??!! Atb

i wouldnt spray it on my dogs i have the feeling it may well burn the skin but anyway i wont be using it for that ,, for cleaning kennels slabs ect yes ideal for that job
