It's On It's Way

been noticing the last few nights that the days are getting shorter.were nearly in augest now which means it's time to start getting the dog fit.going to start rabbiting in late september/early october.hoping to travel far and wide this season with a couple of good mates.hoping for a couple of trips to ireland to,got some good permission.looking forward to it already.what your plans for this season.?

Yep I was just sat out the back and noticed it drawing in earlier than it has been. A touch of wind in the air too.

 

I will be having a few trips down Hereford way to a mate on his permission, got a couple of invites up north to take lads up on and an invite down Bedford to take a lad up on.

 

I will mostly be running the red bitch to see if she's any good, she needs a few big nights but the brindle bitch will still get a few nights out too. She started to get a liking for retrieving shot fox towards end of last season so will let her do a bit of that.

 

Plenty of daytime bushing and I want to get this Plummer on some rats too.

I'm happy just to get out and watch the dogs work (day time )meet a couple lads last season that had a couple of the pups I bred and had some great invites last season nice to see the pups coming on so looking forward to this one some great ground for working the dogs

Loads of day work again this season looking forward to seeing this white dog work properly this season only having End of last season ! Also bringing my pup on she's starting to hunt for herself ! Gone be weird not having the old girl out this year

roll on winter. i am looking forward to bringing my pup on, i had been running 3 times a week and taking the pup with me along with 2 hour walks inbetween but i have fecked me leg i am hoping to be back into action by september.
