I like Shannon I like it when he chases people about its entertaining you can see he really gets under Hayes skin, which will make a good fight. I don't care about all that British American shite. It's just my opinion. I like fury as well,Hayes just boring to watch in his interviews. He's a good fighter though Mike Tysons a yank too So basically your not interested in how fighters fight......just how they talk ! And we wonder why the sport is on its arse ! It's an opinion get over it. I like Shannon the cannon not David Haye so f****n what. What's the problem and being the leading boxing pundit on the huntinglife you'd surely know boxings not on its Arse at all Anyway I'm Definatly not getting into a HL battle over the fact I like Shannon Briggs. Calm down treacle im simply making the point that the reason for shows like that one last night is because some people pay more attention to the silly showbiz bollocks and wwf style rants than they pay to what happens inside a boxing ring. Any real boxing fan had paid to see that I think they would be upset.more great comedy from dave though lol I usually notice that the majority of true fight fans will be there for the undercard........then the closer the main event comes the more they get swallowed up by the fluffy lot.........i just cant see how Haye could of made money from this event i dont think i spoke to anyone there that had bought a ticket i gave 14 away on thursday and friday ! bird 10,014 Posted May 22, 2016 Report Share Posted May 22, 2016 well well well ive been to a lot of fights over the years but that last night was by far the most embarrassing cringeworthy night of boxing ive ever seen......it was bordering on panto !.....i only really went there to see a young lad fight on the undercard and i thought it was a bit suspect during the week when i asked a chap i know for a few tickets and he gave me 20 !!........oh it was terrible.....i really think the bbboc need to start taking a closer look at what they are sanctioning as its making a mockery of the sport.......everything about the show made me feel sick from the silly showbiz audience to the pathetic ring entrances all im interested in is the fights and they was diabolical we had enough after the Briggs fight and ended up watching the Haye fight in a nice little Brazilian restaurant in the O2 which was the only thing that saved the evening ! A friend of mine hit the nail on the head when he said " this show makes the Freddie Flintoff fight look quite respectable " It go,s back to basics for me.....let fighters fight,managers manage,matchmakers matchmake and promoters promote......I like Haye as a fighter and i think he would have Briggs out in less than 2 rounds......but as a man he makes me want to throw up.....then again so do most Millwall fans. and me gnash 2 -3 rounds, even though Briggs looked in good shape for his age, and strong . i think Haye ko him, and Haye looked bigger to me prob got bit more power with his extra size to him . but last night show was farse ,Haye got to start fighting proper rated boxers, not bums Quote Link to post Share on other sites
