walshie 2,804
I admit I don't much care for the man. He assumes incorrectly everyone is interested in his opinions, which by and large they aren't. But I do think it's ridiculous that as soon as anyone dares open their mouth about almost any subject, there is some whinge bucket ready to pounce and claim they are offended, or even worse, claim someone else is probably offended. I used to think it was so people could claim a few quid compensation for being "hurt" but now I think a lot of people really are thin-skinned sissies. In "Demolition Man" starring Stallone, every time he swore a machine issued a ticket saying "You are fined 5 credits for violation of the verbal morality code." I don't think that's far off. As soon as someone invents a machine that picks up on "homophobic, sexist, ageist, racist, anythingist" words, they will make a fortune. Sticks and stones...
stevo79 569
The thing is when you put the hard work in like he has to become world champ. That gives you a platform to voice your opinions for the world to here. Like it or lump it he's got an opinion. No different from the bullshit Ali used to spout out.
