WILF 50,946
I've got to be honest, I'm struggling to see how any of them are going to affect my life significantly. I appreciate some will feel that certain candidate's policy is standout but for me.... And I do feel a little guilty about that. Don't feel guilty mate, you can only order what's on the menu and if you don't like it then you don't like it.....simple as that. It's all broken......why waste your time. I have to say, the UKIP councillor in my old area has done some real good stuff, not least sacking the big firm the council had running the council (??figure that!!) which seemed hell bent on robbing every poor c**t for every last penny. So fair play to him for that! Edited May 5, 2016 by WILF

Mister Gain 1,764
On my way round to vote and a somali in a wrinkled, ill-fitting whistle is walking along chanting "polling, polling, polling", obviously as mad as a march hare but given the opportunity to vote, fcuking joke. Blackbriar 8,569
My council tax went up over £100 this year, so a different council is definitely required. Ours went up too, but I think that's due to a reduction in central support grant, or some such nonsense. (Or was it to fund social care....?) Eithermway, our council went from "no overall control" to a slim Labour majority - hasn't made the tiniest difference, that I can see !
WILF 50,946
There's no reason for council tax to be the price it is.........it's a rip off.
Tiercel 6,986
I've been up to the community centre and ticked the UKIP box,for all the good it'll do. You could dig up Jimmy Saville's corpse and stand it for labour here and it'd win by a landslide. Same here, that is why I do not vote. Our local labour candidate came to the door this week, he could not wait to leave.... TC
