Pregnant bitch 8 weeks small number of ticks I've done some research getting yes and no answered so I suppose what I'm looking for has anybody treated a bitch while so late in pup and if so what was the treatment , brand etc....

used to smear them in vaseline (but not on pregnant bitch) they breath out the arse as the head is buried. coating them in vaseline stops them breathing and they drop off in a few hours... Yokel

Sprinkle with salt makes them thirsty when they let go to look for water you can shoot them with air rifle works for crabs as well must be a good shot though lol

Big size human toenail clippers is the only thing i could remove them without chopping head off slide it in grabs them right tight to skin and head cant be left behind just dont squezze clipper fully tight that you snip off the claws,never failed yet.

would you use .22 or .177 and which gives the most humane dispatch i feel sorry for wounded ticks crawling around floor.
