I do like the quick turnrpund from last fight cant be doing with these 12 month between each fight merchents, I get the impression joshua would fight everyweek if theyd let him

4 posts in and its already gone T.O.L ffs give your heads a shake lads

I haven't looked into this breezle very much just going what I heard apparently he struggled with kassi who Hughie fury is fighting next I don't expect it to be anything other than an easy match up being aj first title defence what else can you expect but I do aksk think Eddie Hearn will milk it and there be plenty of other easy defences coming up

I did apprenticeship in game keeping I'll have you know but never lasted long as realised it wasn't a very good move for some one like me who liked being in control and not getting told to do something still find it Intreating and know s few lads who carried it on and happy enough to have me on thier shoots mooching with catty or dogs you can look at it this way poacher turned gamekeeper turned poacher again

Take it to PM boys. Could be a good thread this.

Breazeale did struggle with Fred Kassi, who I don't rate either. I think Hughie will deal with Kassi pretty easily. Although he looks handy at getting inside and working the body. I still think Hughie will stop him.

I think they are doing well getting AJ a few steady defences. I know he's up there know he's got the belt but a few more steady ones won't do him any harm IMO and there are plenty of heavyweights out there willing to have a shot.

If Hughie stops Kassi thats as good as anything Joshua has on his record...we all knew Hearn would milk it with a bunch of easy defenses...looks like it will be late this year or even next before he faces the winner of Takham-v-Parker.

I agree JD. It's good to see.

I don't think he's milking it so much as being sensible AKA. But I might be wrong.

Theres better fights for him to be made in my opinion is all im saying Gaz...dont know how to put up links...but theres a good interview with Frank Warren on youtube done a few weeks back where hes talking about Joshua,Martin and the Hearns...i dont agree with all Warren says but he makes some real good points...worth checking out

Genuine question to you boys that actually fight/ box. It is in keeping with the thread (I hope).

When a boxer trains for a fight, I would have thought he would train for the distance of the fight, and peak at the time of the fight? What happens if it is for an example a first round knock out? Where does his training go from there? As he has peaked for that particular fight, how long before he can start the cycle again?

The same question for if the fight goes the distance? I understand that it would vary from fighter to fighter but is there a rule of thumb sort of thing where he has to wind down if you will, before he can start to train to reach a peak again?

theres also a good vid on there of Shane Mcguigan taking David Haye on the pads...he's certainly not lost any of his power on that vegan diet!!...spend a good part of it repeatedly hooking off the left jab...and thats the punch that will finish Joshuas unbeaten run (if the Hearns ever let him near A.J)...in my opinion

Youd have to ask Rob Mcracken...as he's Joshuas real trainer
