Around 8-9 I would say. Make sure you have a deck chair and a good book on hand, as I would sit with her during the birth as if she has a good lot it will take hours and just keeping the first borns out of the way when the next is born will be a great comfort for her.

I once had 2 greyhounds pup within 24 hours and ended up with 20 pups at the end of it. That's AI for you.

You know your bitch so observation during whelping the key

Don't have the full family ect around disturbing her whilst whelping

Yourself only at a comftable distance just looking in every 15-30 mins

If she looks like she struggling get her to the vets for a jab of oxiticin

A couple mill Normally does the trick although works best after at least one pup born

Don't wait more than 3 hours in between pups if she looks tired or struggling

If first shot of Oxy don't work give another after 30-45 mins

If she don't produce pups 15 mins after second shot get her strait in for a section

But Socks when you know she not far off whelping a walk on the lead for 5 mins can do the trick as can a 5-10 min drive around in the car .

Like I say you know your bitch .

I'm sure all will be fine I have whelped a few litters in the past ... To be honest the way she is at the moment I dont even think she knows she is pregnant lol .....
