I've looked time and again at the footage and I can't see the towel.

I thought Dubois could probably have got up before the end of the count. The same as the last fight. Maybe I'm wrong. But Usyk destroys opponents  mentally as well as physically.

Apologies for crap pictures i have no idea how to turn the flash on ....never mind the Usyk legend ive not had a picture of our Bobby since i was last there !

Really poor bunch of undercard fights i thought,we got there the Dacers/Sirenko fight which was pretty awful, the Lapin bout was a bit better and then had to sit through the depression of Lawrence Okolie !

Thats it then Usyk has completed the game....no great surprise really just the ease with which he won im surprised people havent made more of the extra weight Usyk had on im pretty sure he's never fought above 16 stone before....i think it suits him just gave him that extra purchase on his shots he's as good as ive seen Usyk, just a brilliant fighter.....Dubois did again what i saw him do as a youngster.....its not even quitting outright he just loses hope.....theres no worse fighter for a mentally fragile fighter to be up against than Usyk.....both times Dubois has fought him he hasnt quit on pain he's quit on hopelessness......i could talk all night about Daniel as i really studied him years ago and brilliant as he has done in the game he's turned out exactly like i thought,a fantastic physical beast but literally nothing up top.....i remember an old pal of mine Martin Bowers training him when he first turned pro he would say Dubois is pretty much unteachable,he just doesnt have the intellect to absorb what you're telling him, the only way he learns is through constant repetition.....its a shame and its a hard thing to say but the lad is literally so unintelligent and so tunnel visioned towards his father who himself is a complete fool, that its probably cost him his career.

Usyk though,outstanding.....has to be in the conversation for top 10 heavies of all time now for me.....maybe top 5.

The towel did go in but one of them " saviour " type gestures at the count of 9 to disguise the fact the lads jacked it in.

It's like Teddy Atlas says about M Tyson when he talks about his inner doubt. Tyson never really believed he was the man who could beat anybody and that's essential..that ego, that confidence, that never say enough is enough. Dubois is  exactly the same. Brilliant  physical specimen, same as M Tyson.but no real confidence. He could have got up before the count, he walked straight, no unsteadiness, immediately after he'd been counted out.. He'd had enough.

Guys like Joe Frazier really didn't have any quit in them.

Danny, like Tyson is haunted by inner doubt.

Bad clip and angle this but you can also see it on this one

Glad you enjoyed I thought Dubois did ok and usyk had already hurt him in the second aswell as frustrating him throughout with how good he seemed to have an answer for everything you had a good seat then..

Yeah thought the undercard was shit mate, but the atmosphere looked good for the main event, and as you say Usyk didn't disappoint... top 5 you say! Technically possibly the best, but I'm not sure on top 5... I'd of love to seen him in either the 70s or 90s eras just to see some of those matcg ups..
