mattyg 1,862
The red dots and long range scopes are being zeroed as we speak. The local nutcase is already being framed for his "murder" but hopefully trumps straight talk will persuade a few more people to step up. Matt

neems 2,406
Although I enjoy the kick up the arse he's giving the establishment I can't help thinking the world is going to be a much more dangerous scary place if he gets the top job. Why? He'll have good relations with Russia and stay out of Israel/Palestine/Iran's business, where can the conflict come from? Except disgruntled Mexican gardeners, and there'll be a nice big wall to keep them out

Why? He'll have good relations with Russia and stay out of Israel/Palestine/Iran's business, where can the conflict come from? Except disgruntled Mexican gardeners, and there'll be a nice big wall to keep them out He wants harder sanctions on Iran, he wants to pressure the Chinese into sanctions against N.Korea. His position on Pakistan is similar. He also wants to step up the bombing campaign in Iraq and Syria rather indiscriminately. Which I'm sure won't cause any problems. He changes his mind so much though that he might decide he's mates with them all tomorrow. On the one hand he wants to improve relations with the likes of Russia and China. On the other he wants to take on a more protectionist defence policy, letting the rest of the world sort their own shit out. Fair enough right? On the face of it but it'll lead to a hell of a lot of conflict around the world (and that's by modern standards!), history has taught us that. I'll leave it up to everyone to decide if that's any worse or better than what we have...... personally it's not generally a set of policies that I would consider any more comforting than what we have now. Perhaps no worse mind..... It's his radical unpredictability and love of populist politics which makes me nervous of him. There kind of like that friend you have that you don't let in your house for fear of them robbing you to me it has all the makings of a new cold war... Russia may smile in Americas face but you can bet the daggers will be out the moment there backs turned.. Russia are land grabbers look at Ukraine also there constant attempts at destabilising Europe...getting into bed with the Russians has disaster written all over it imo. Imo relations with russia should be better weve been allies in two world wars share the same continent and have no real bad blood, even the one recent conflict weve had with them there was barely a shot fired in 50 years

LOL He's a hard one to figure out,I'm still not 100% sure that this isn't all just his 'apprentice' persona that he's putting on. I don't think Americans have any duty to anyone other than Americans, and I'm fairly sure he'll at least attempt to put his country first, and if that rubs off on western Europe that's good for us. The other candidates are scarier to me,particularly Shillary and Bernie are an outspoken feminist and a former radical communist turned radical cultural Marxist (have you ever read his campaign website?). Then we have Marco 'amnesty' Rubio who seems like he just may have divided loyalty and Ted Cruz who just seems like your generic 'I stand with Israel' republican who definitely favours the chosen people over his own,and would drag his country (and quite possibly ours) back out into the desert at the drop of a shtreimel.
