ATB yes500metre is never 500 see able metres, think they rate it out reflective output or sumin. My 140 tracer was 400 metre but at 270 metres you could barely see much going on. Quote Link to post

I need to have a good distance on a lamp.you might aswell not have a lamp with u if u put a filter on one lolI been out with one, there good for medium fields and that but they get lost in bigger fields. Field I lamped were 40 odd acre and it sucked it. Where as my HID picked up two deer in hedge other side of said field. yes mate thats i meant,Ive been out with the old cluson and really youd be aswell with a candle.
