Great shots mate. There has been one wintering on our shoot this year. Got flushed out of a small bomb hole every Saturday. Most of the lads didn't have a clue what it was. Great birds to see, like big moths flopping round.

Good images there Martin..

Try the same place in the morning too, as these birds tend to stay in the same area for a decent period of time, and there will probably be more than one there, you will see it again

Ive photographed hundreds of these, they, as with any owls are always great to see, and photograph..

Been there quite a few time in the morning (dawn) but nothing a few people say they see them after a rainy night so will try tomorrow. They will be off soon so back to
