No two ways he is completely dedicated to his dogs, you just got to listen to what makes sense.

A lot of real characters in this game, an old boy I know came out with once owned ferret's that would recall to the whistle, then would give some useful tips followed by a bit more bullshit. Personally I like all the banter that goes with the hunting game. Atb

 

Funny enough, if you whistle the same tone or warble when you feed your ferrets, then it is possible to whistle them from a warren. Even works when they've made a kill, as long as they are not starved.
