Was out this morning at first like and it was fecking bitter think I was out before the rabbits at the start !

Since the dogs have been injured was their first proper walk/hunt in a while their were hunting about knocking rabbits out of cover when I noticed a beagle running around with them obviously a pet was a fat thing but a very attractive woman appear trying to get the dog back so I called mine in and the beagle came with them we started chatting while walking and one the lurchers caught a rabbit and brung it to hand Alive so I let it go and carried on while we was walking this woman was telling me she always thought hunting lurchers were big angry dog that ripped other animals to pieces ! She could quickly see my pair were laid back as shit playing with her dog and after bringing the rabbit back and not killing it they obviously didn't rip them to pieces !

As we went our separate ways she told me her views on hunting with dogs had change and my dogs were some the most well behaved she had see out walking most pet dogs she sees get dragged the other way my their owners was nice to have a compliment and showed someone hunting isn't as bad as people think !!

Am still a hatered man for forcing the dogs to run next to the push bike and never feeding then with the lady a few doors up with her waiting for a heart attack fat lab.if she only new how well there fead they are and are very well looked after..

May not be fair but whenever you step out with hunting dogs you're acting as an ambassador for your sport and it sounds like you did a cracking job at it fair play You never know she might go back to her group of friends and tell them about the experience changing a few more minds along the way.
