What Breed To Get

Recommended Posts

There seems to be a lot of well bred saluki bull greys about at the minute. I have one myself and a lot of others on here have and would agree they will have the stamina and be one of the easiest all round dogs to get hold of. Iv seen plenty of good litter about its just finding ones were the oarents have been grafted.

Get yourself a goshawk/gyr/lanner falcon ,any dog should retrieve puss for you,get eagle owl for lamping, don't waste your time on a saluki x everyone in the know, tell you beddy/whip x the best all rounder. Lol atb dc

the eagle owl hell of a bird, a butcher I knew kept them they would crush a hares head like a mouse, very powerful bird , and not to bad to keep+ hunt, the goshawk more tricky to keep from what he told me

Gos is a horrible bird lol,if ever the one we had missed it would turn around and smash the f***ing border or spaniel lol, eagle owl is some fun, lamping ducks off flight ponds etc .found that you can't do the dogs and birds justice so one or the other for me and I love me dogs:)still have some good days out with the birds.atb dcmy favourite are the harris hawks get a good un and you have some fun,gos etc to temperamentAl.

Yeah, don't be drawn into any certain type or breed, just source a puppy from two proven parents that are renowned workers from the area you intend to hunt..simple as that

Deffo good advice as put her breeding down on paper i wouldn't have touched mine,BUT i knew both parents and they did it all and she's just like them :D so can't get better advice than that bud  ..
