Had the dogs out on exorcise this morning just mooching around a couple of spots had young Joe off lead and collared up past a pipe that he sometimes shows interest in the nose went down and in he flew bayed twice and out flew Charlie with Joe on his arse good chase was given but Joes no lurcher. To me that's halfway there thoughts please

Know a place that got miles of pipes like that old m.o.d place,net each end and drop the dog down inspection chamber.let him get a smell/mouthful and a good chase will only make him want it more imo.well done Joe. Atb dc

Beware of drains etc, for me ground every time, I've had some absolute nightmares in drains,pipes,etc. Even after working them for years.

Easy spots in soil every time. Young dog can grip with his feet going forward and back " if that's its style" if you have to smash in its very noisey and hazard filled.A fast bolt is great but don't always happen. Soil,dirt for me every time with young guns. IMO.

The dog done what it had to do,bolted the fox,next step is a nice handy dig to him,something simple,30 minute job and keep him winning for his 1st season no need to rush him,as has been said so many times its easy enter them but even easier to spoil a good dog.
