I'm a motorbiker and some places do that and some don't. But they will never apply the law evenly because bikers aren't a race of easily offended, looking for something to cry about, playing the race card all the time, shithouses. We just take our helmets off or use a different gas station.

Same I am a biker and refuse to take mine off if I am just filling up etc, If I went into a bank with my helmet on there would be a scene, no doubt, but if some bitch walked in like a walking letterbox, nobody would say Jack, all to appease a vile race of interlopers that have no place here.

Sounds perfectly fair to me,simpy out of common decency and respect surely you would want to uncover your face to have a conversation with someone.......in summer i,ll even remove a pair of sunglasses to talk to someone let alone a crash helmet !.......but thats got to apply across the board of course i wouldnt last 5 minutes as a shopkeeper id simply refuse to serve a woman with a burka if she,s not going to show me respect i,ll show her none either and she can f**k off out my shop.

Eye to eye contact and i know a few proper old boy Norfolk farmers who will hold a gaze to see where a persons heart lays and they won't trust a person who'd look away or not look at them when speaking to them. They all say the eye's are the opening to a persons inner self and hide them and it'll be dark in there,it sounds funny but think about it and very true words they speak  ..

Ask yourself how that can be?, then ask yourself, who makes these laws?, and who implements them?.

I'm pretty sure most Sikhs and muslims don't give a shit about folk wearing crash helmets.

I know what you're saying Gnasher and of course if I met someone and I wanted a conversation I would remove my helmet. When I'm filling the bike with fuel, I'm there for petrol, not for an in-depth chat with the bloke behind the counter. It's such a faff removing a helmet just to hand over a tenner to someone and with the visor up people can see your eyes and most of your face - which is more than can be said for women wearing burkas.

I can't stand this one law for us and one law for them.

I agree I think its ignorant to speak to someone wearing sunglasses

I get the letterbox Muslims in the shop regularly but find that if they are with their master he will do the talking....if its just a bunch without any masters they tend not to talk

Those that have their full face on show tend to talk

Yes but what if you want a coffee as well :D

Its not the person behind the tills fault you want to ride a motorbike dont they deserve the respect of good manners ?......anyway,if its because of robberies etc then its understandable surely ?......again,just as long as its across the board i cant see whats unfair about it.
