Are Rabbits Weaker/slower In Some Parts Of The Country Than Others?

Recommended Posts

Hmmm maybe slower isn't the reason...maybe less educated...near me if you put a lamp in a field every rabbit starts running..evern in the next field if the lamp shines over the hedge...a lad not far from me whent up the dales said he put the lamp on and the rabbits didn't budge..said most the rabbits he had were taken out the seat..

Never thought about them as being weaker or slower, I think it's the ground. The same bunny on a golf course would run a damn site better than on rough moorland.

And it's true about the dales, throw a rucksack down and they jump in. Lol

I'd be happy just to see rabbits

Yep, so would we here in east kent. Never before has there been such a lack of them.population right down. Many signs in spring of badgers digging out the babes, also few mixies, some I think have had that thing that kills them unless they survive past 8 weeks, all in all though having lived here for many years very few, where once many.
