Yep i have read so, so much about the Excaliber after a lot of looking, i too like the look of the Rapier but little info about it.

FWB Sport 124/ 127 is on my classic list too, shot them for nigh on 40 years exclusively with fine results.

Just let me be the first to say i told you so,

 

for when you find out that its as accurate as any 177 you own or shot

 

including the hw100 any day of the week.

 

 

Its the posh version of the raider a rifle i hold very highly with the best

 

and proved it 100,s of times as you know Mark

Wondered where you was Mac what took you ?

I fancy the classic Excaliber mate but not the calibre and would have to compromise,- might not happen yet Mac as i own the HW 100 ks already and she is as good as brand new,- she is not used.

The same gunsmith has a Raider in .177 on the shelf for £275 in very good order too. - just saying

Had 3 excalibers the best in my opinion was the karbine tiger stripped stock lovely to shoot one gun I really regret selling/there becoming a collectors gun now and going for daft money

I have the webley fx 2000 .22 which is the same rifle as the excalibre , and they are brilliant very accurate and easily tuned i will never sell it , i wanted a fx 2000 in .177 and i searched everywhere and couldn't find one they are rare for sale couldn't find the excalibre in .177 either . people who have them don't want to sell them it seems.. so i bought a raider 10 in .177 instead and it's great IMO very underrated ...

Have to eat my earlier words as bought another hw100 today but the rws still one of my all time fav guns just glad I still get to use our toms from time to time
