neil cooney 10,416
There's a few lads probably thinking like that Larry, but I think the consequences would be too severe.
Waz 4,293
Pull out the guts, 3 minutes boiling salted water, plunge into cold water. Peel and then fry in garlic lemon and chilli, bit of bread and butter.
J Darcy 5,871
There's a few lads probably thinking like that Larry, but I think the consequences would be too severe. They completely ruin the ecosystem.Once they're over there they would collonise the whole country in a coupe of decades. Over here we're only just starting to see the devestatuion unfold. Fewer and fewer fry and soon the rivers will be empty. On some ponds it's hard to bait fish as the crays are on bait immediately. They really are a menace. I caught on in my local stream the other day, killed him and put him behind a mink trap, least he might lure another invasive species to it's death....
neil cooney 10,416
IMO it's only a matter of time 'till someone thinks it's a good idea and brings a bucket full home. Even as we speak there's an investigation into some suspected cases of plague in some of our natives.
dark-destroyer-85 636
Don't you have to have a special license to touch them I remember fishing up the reservoir near me for trout and one of these were on the end I didn't know just took it off but when the bailiff came around he told me I needed a license to touch them

Born Hunter 17,974
What's the crack with trapping them legally? I know a couple spots that have them. I assume you need the landowners permission, even on rivers?
