johnny boy68 11,726 Posted August 30, 2015 Report Share Posted August 30, 2015 Had a nice walk with the kids today, said they fancied doing 2 trigs today so we went down the road and walked up the Sugar Loaf and then went and did Skirrid Fawr after. johnny boy68 11,726 Posted August 31, 2015 Author Report Share Posted August 31, 2015 Thanks lads. I do try and get the kids out as often as I can, they do enjoy the walks so it makes it much easier. I couldn't imagine having to drag them along against there will and have them whinging all the way, I suppose I'm lucky that my kids want to spend so much time with me and Katchum's right about the kids opening up more when you've got nothing to distract them. The natural beauty seems to open up there inquisitiveness and they ask questions that I find they'd not ask in general. I've never had much luck in life tbh but I'm lucky to have kids that are energetic and adventurous, theres no end of stuff you can get up to then. 5 Quote Link to post Share on other sites

In all seriousness I asked a guy yesterday what it was and he said its the take off strip for para-gliders and such, whether he was having me at it I'm not sure.
