Brewman 1,192
I don't think anyone takes them to seriously. They are to far gone with their campaigns and no credible evidence to back any of their rubbish. They think everyone should be vegan, for me that says it all about thir mental health. Two of these idiot types recently managed to get themselves elected to the RSPCA ruling executive - don't be too quick to dismiss ! I stand corrected, I had forgotten about that. Cheers BB. I love watching these numpties making fools of themselves. Try to see it from their point of view though.... You might spend many years, selectively breeding a racing bird - if you can't be bothered to do that, just spend several hundreds of pounds on one ! Then, you keep the bird in the company of dozens of it's own kind, in a spacious loft, which is regularly cleaned. Feed them the very best food you can afford, in limitless quantities and allow them as much daily exercise as they want. In return, the poor exploited birds are expected to use their natural instincts to fly back where they came from, without any kind of training whatsoever ! Pigeon fanciers ? Fecking barbarians........!

For they are the undoing of modern society, how many fence sitters have went to their side because they have fell for them and the lies they spout freely unchecked? Sore arms ? Flapping ? Never mind........ So, you have to give them training flights ? Build up their speed and stamina like runners ? I guess the winner is decided on average speed or some such ? (otherwise the winner will always be whoever lives nearest to the start point)

desertbred 5,490
The hunting with dogs Act was only the beginning. Many sat on the fence when it was suggested. greyhound racing, fishing . pigeons, shooting were on the hit lists. These anti tree hugging groups will only be satisfied when we are all eating nuts and berries and sitting playing snap. People need to wake up now they object to intensive farming, halal and kosher slaughter , broiler and battery farming , in fact anything that doesnt comply with their rose tinted ,mary f***ing poppins way of looking at things. All the sporting passtimes clubs associations and groups along with individuals now need to unite to combat this persistent daily onslaught of the LACS, tree huggers, antis and especially the RSPCA, The SNP also need to etold by their voters to get their heads from up their backsides this is a fight that needs to be fought and won now is the time not as with the hunting with dogs act trying to recover what ground is already lost.
