Councils wanted to introduce a fine for anyone caught feeding seagulls. Now they can't because that would offend religious groups who believe they should be able to feed animals and birds.

 

Who would be more offended, the religious groups they talk about or someone who's pet or kid gets attacked by the flying rats?

Seriously though, not only do local councils need to grow a pair regarding religious and animal rights but anyone walking along that's mobbed by a seagull should send it flying.

I worked on sites near the coast where gulls would have their nests on piles of topsoil and would mob us regularly. Not mobbing as in trying to rob food but aggressively as in defending their nests.

Gulls nowadays IMO are bullying people because nowadays people are easily bullied.
