The chain is only to hold him still long enough for a photo. he was kept in a kennel. My friend got the dog from me and he was just like a hummingbird always moving too much to get a decent picture. Thank you

Bit controversial to call that a Lakeland, more fell or patterdale

I agree, and you'll see where I edited a couple of times adding then removing. But I have people tell me he is a black lakeland and honestly after yrs I still am confused by what constitutes a Lakeland,Fell,and/or Patterdale.

All nice dogs on this topic but I've seen a couple that myself, I would call a Patterdale, but folks have termed Lakeland. And I've owned a few that I would call Patterdale but older terriermen referred to as Lakeland.

Black Lakelands, white Lakelands, do they exist and if yes,what makes them so?Pedigree/bloodlines? Physical traits? I don't know. Take care
