  1. That's a border x mate ,nice one for giving her a home .
  2. got a dog mate what can take care of them mate no worries there got a couple of pup on the rabbits mate you would like to get your arse on it can't make head nor tales of your post kidder , your illiterate as well as wank at catching hares you fool .
  3. Snaring hares is toss ! If you haven't got a dog that's up to the job ,and you obviously haven't , then sounds like rabbits are more up your street . As for maintaining your permission your better off giving it to someone with a dog that's up to the job !
  4. Too early if you ask me , by giving them nesting material and pans too early , you just encourage them to go down early . This generally leads to clear eggs ,I tend to look at the birds in there natural state , for eg if I'm keeping bullies I put pans and nesting material in once the bullies in the wild are building . I think it is easy to get carried away at the beginning of the season and become impatient ,just my opinion .good luck to all of you trying British ,hope you have a successful season .
  5. Canaries just don't do it for me , I'm obsessed with British , however what ever floats your boat .
  6. What a dog ! Like a miniature red nose !
  7. Personally I think it's a bit early , you could end up with clear eggs , there's no rush m let the weather pick up a bit . Once they have had some sun on there backs and plenty of daylight they will be keen as mustard . As for the soak seed and egg food , it's not necessary until the chicks hatch ,just give them plenty of weeds . Put some cover round the nest pans but not to much cover in the aviary or you could find your birds will hide . Good luck mate
  8. Split for brown pastel bully cock for sale 2014 , also split for white bully cock for sale 2011 , anyone interested pm tong po on here .
  9. How many do you expect to breed this season tong po , and do you have any tips for the novices amongst us ?
  10. Tong po I salute you ! Your a legend !
  11. why do you use conifer branches for your bullies tong po ? Do they like them ?I use it because you can form a good structure with a few branches to secure a nest pan in safely and proved ample cover.they also allow the nest to retain a small amount of moisture why do you want to retain moisture in your nest pans ?
  12. its voluntary tong po , bodie and pat are being trained as we speak
  13. why do you use conifer branches for your bullies tong po ? Do they like them ?
  14. I was feeding the mealworms they were thriving till they started to fly Hi, they can't survive on just mealworms. Young birds need a more mixed diet than the high protein mealworms. I wonder if they got some sort of 'protein poisoning'?? I always syringe fed and used a combination of tinned go food, garden peas/baked beans and banana with a bit of brocolli.....reared all kinds of birds on that mix.... better man than me if you can squeeze go food through a syringe pal
