zandy01 3,575
Worst company ever... Swapped to talktalk, engineer comes on 27th Nov, all connected and you'll go live phone and broadband after business hours, tries phone that night to get automated message "there's a fault on this line since 23rd Nov and trying best to get fixed, estimated to be 30th Nov"... Didn't tell me that when I signed up, called to cancel contract to be told "you'll be charged £450 early cancellation fee" Argued that I refuse to be charged for a service they've never provided After 4 days of calls to India and the likes, finally got costs waved but won't give me it in writing, only on their system, gets letter next morning telling me I will be charged £450 early cancellation fee... Called again to be told automated letter and all fees have been waved... Cancelled direct debit to make sure here's no "automated £450 fee" coming out of bank... Called Sky and back online/phone on 16th of this month - was with them 4 years and never had a problem.. Just wanted cheaper deal which I got, they dropped my bill by £35 per month... Should be no probs on switch-over as sky had line in 1st place - the day Talktalk took it over everything went wrong and can only be talktalk at fault as line was ok with sky but talktalk problem from 23rd... They're bunch of greedy cnuts - they knew there was a fault and still sent engineer to connect knowing full well there was problems.... Truther 1,579
No problems with the service, business connection, so very reliable, and problems dealt with fairly quickly, but when i tried to cancel they refused on a technicality even though the contract had run out, took 3 months to sort out, and i had to contact the ombudsman, eventually i got a phone call from head of customer relations and an apology, an offer of a refund that never came, and a year later a bill for 3 months service they forced on me which ive never paid! During the initial attempt to get free of them one of their operators said if i paid the outstanding amount up to date, he would transfer me to the technical dept, and cancelling wouldn't be a problem, i paid over the phone by card and the b*****d cut me off theives

day worker 296
First month we lose the internet so we ring Tt up and they tell us we haven't paid! We told them we had a direct debit set up and they say we haven't. So we pay by card and set up another direct debit! The following month exactly the same happened again. The following month the money goes out and again we are cut off and we are told we haven't paid. Spoke to bank and they say yes it's been paid ring tt they say it hasn't. Several phone calls later up and running again. Following month again cut off only to be told we have a fault so they get me crawling around behind the tv plugging and unplugging everything then!!!!!! Oh we see the problem you haven't paid! YES I f***ing HAVE I reply bud bud ding ding no you haven't. Cut a long story short I have paid. This month yes you guessed it no friggin internet! Aaaaaarrrrrrgggggghhhhhh!!!!!!! So on the phone again bud bud ding ding unplug this unplug that reset the box! I tell them there is nothing wrong with it and that they've cut me off! Bud bud ding ding no we haven't! I tell them this happens every month! She then tells me she can see the problem and I have a fault and she'll send a b*****d engineer out at a cost of 15 to me at which point I tell her to feck off and I hang up! Well less than an hour later it's all working again. People make mistakes and I can accept that to a point but don't feckin lie and tell me that it's me at fault! Do not be tempted to go with these cnuts they are liars and provide a very poor service which is why I'm going back to sky!
