The new Anti-terrorism BIll will contained measures to prevent UK jihadis from returning, says David CaMoron. The proposed Special Exclusion Orders, would prevent jihadis from re-entering the UK, unless they agree to strict controls, and could last up to 2 years. Border Agency officials would also have the power to remove passports and refuse travel to passengers travelling to Iraq or Syria. Millipede (predictably) has questioned the legality of the measures, and says 'more should be done to prevent radicalization' . Meanwhile, over in the States, President Obama has said he is determined to introduce immigration reforms which would protect a further 5 million 'undocumented immigrants' from deportation. They are bound by international law...... unless being strong leaders means ignoring international law willy-nilly? The UN law on statelessness has got their hands tied! And seeing as the public would be screaming "bring our troops home" within 6 months if we deployed the full force of the British military to vanquish them what options are they left with? That'll not be an option soon anyway with the same public voices wanting military budget cuts to the point where we would not be capable of such a campaign. IMO something more stringent would need to be done. All around the globe countries have had extrajudicial killings, Argentina being one such country in the 70's and 80's. Capital punishment is not allowed in any member country of the EU. We are right now signing away MORE of our justice and policing laws to the EU; that was what that clusterfuck debate in the commons was about last week. The MPs thought they were debating the European Arrest Warrant, as Cameron had promised, but the Speaker told them the truth, they WERN'T voting on the EAW, but on giving away ELEVEN other justice powers to the EU. As for returning jihadi's; there is talk of re-intergrating them........... what should be waiting for them is a bullet to the head and the forced repatriation of their extended families to whatever shit hole they origionated from.
