nottzhunter08 898
Well yesterday morning my 16 month old bitch and 4 month old dog pup was messing around in the garden and my bitch ended up knocking the pup over on one of her crazy sprint moments and the pup started holding his back leg up limping and still is limping on it this morning. Do you guys thinks its a vet job or is there anything i can do to help him? Ive gave him a good feel over and can see no apparent injuries or swelling. Any help would be greatly appreciated. white van man 3,533
Mine took a knock the other day when a overweight lab crashed into him in the park. He was making a right noise and limping. I gave him a day just in the garden and as you did give him a once over. He just snapped out of it and is fine. He's also coming up to 4 months. See how the dog does today and maybe give the vet a call. Can you touch or apply pressure to it?? Edited August 21, 2014 by white van man Quote Link to post

Joe1888 672
if its off lead, keep it on lead while older dug is about, or put older dug on lead and let pup off.. untill pup is older and stronger Edited August 21, 2014 by Joe1888 Quote Link to post

whitefeet4190 1,729
If u got ran in to by a fast b*****d u would be sore for a couple of days, if you can give it a deep massage in hips and down leg I'd say it's nothing serious but then again I am not a vet but they would only press hips and legs and then send it for an X-ray to find out what it is ££££££!!! I'd leave him for a few days mate Atb Quote Link to post
paulus 26
personally i would have thought unless the vet had a good suspicion something was broken then they would give a course of pain killers or anti inflammatory and asked to see it in a week to see if it had settled or not before the xray route was considered Quote Link to post
