light year"noun"ASTRONOMY********

* a unit of astronomical distance equivalent to the distance that light travels in one year, which is 9.4607 × 1012 km (nearly 6 million million miles).

* informala long distance or great amount."the new range puts them *light years ahead of* the competition"

read carefully paulas a light YEAR is the distance LIGHT travels in a YEAR

this measurement is only used to measure vast distances cause the universe is never ending

now where getting somewhere, in order to see that light it has travel from its point of origin in the universe back to earth, if that light takes more than 6000 light years to get here it is older than creation which according to you is impossible

When I was a child I prayed to god and asked for a bike, but I knew god didn't work that way so I stole one and asked for forgiveness instead ?.

I will clearly state that my belief is that God does NOT exist. However, you can't prove that something doesn't exist, so if your telling me that I'm wrong, then I'm going to need some proof. Proof th

paulas read carefully

*light-year* (symbol: *ly*), sometimes written *light year* or *lightyear*, is a unit of length used in astronomy

, though it is sometimes mistaken for a unit of time. It is equal to just under 10 trillion

kilometres

(or about 6 trillion miles

).[note 1]

As defined by theInternational Astronomical Union

(IAU), a light-year is the distance that light travels in vacuum

in one Julian year

.[1]

even if you did use it the numbers are to big

evo scientist say big bang happened 20 billion years ago

one light year equals 6 trillion miles haha

one light year =6 trillion earth miles ok divide that by 20 billion big bang =300

so your wrong paulas your big bang fits into ONE light year 300 hundred times

an your telling me that star is 10,000 light years away

do you know how many big bangs would fit into that

paulas your completley wrong

Hope you've not 'explained' this already Fraz but it's quite interesting. How many animals did Noah have on the ark?

A fuuckin lot Lab mate lol mrs Noah was well piissed off lmao

I've had a google and they reckon it's about 5000 pairs.

What I can't understand if God was so powerful, powerful enough that he can make the world, he could do all these amazing things. He summons a man called Noah, tells him to build an ark because there's a flood on its way ( which he starts) , this Ark took 80 years tae build and he had to get 2 of every animsl in it with 40 days worth of food stocked up.

Would it not have been better just to say "your all dead and I'm starting again.? Ffs it only took him a week the first time...he's taken 80 years tae end it.lol

no sea animals, two of every kind not species.

the ark was big

look in the bible the lord tell the dimensions of the ark

very unique design to stop it from capsizing in big waves

man you are totally and utterly out of your tiny feckin mind

for a start 1 light year = 5.87849981 × 1012 miles

1 Julian year = 365.25 earth days

if you can see the light from a star from earth that is more than 6000 light years away or 3.52709989 × 1016 miles then that light has taken over 6000 years to reach the earth, how is possible that a star was there before it was created.
