socks 32,253
Save yourself a few bob! A used hacksaw blade will strip that coat no problem. A tip I got from a greyhound man years ago, works a treat!!! I used a hacksaw blade for over 20 years until I tried a furminator I will never go back to a blade now ........ Quote Link to post

JAE B 552
Yeh her coat is horrendous at the moment. Coming out in handfuls. It's not rough but it's thick and a bit wirey. Someone else recommended a furminator, I will have to get one. A normal brush doesn't touch her. Hopefully it's just the weather and she is shedding her puppy fur. Her sire was deer/grey x collie/grey and dam was deer/grey x whippet. She will see a bit of work this season so fingers crossed excellent tool the furminator mate :-) Quote Link to post

A tip I got from a greyhound man years ago, works a treat!!! you will only think the hacksaw blade is good until you see what a Furminator can do in a quarter of the time.........pm Millet......
