Save yourself a few bob! A used hacksaw blade will strip that coat no problem. A tip I got from a greyhound man years ago, works a treat!!!

I used a hacksaw blade for over 20 years until I tried a furminator I will never go back to a blade now ........

Yeh her coat is horrendous at the moment. Coming out in handfuls. It's not rough but it's thick and a bit wirey.

 

Someone else recommended a furminator, I will have to get one. A normal brush doesn't touch her. Hopefully it's just the weather and she is shedding her puppy fur.

 

Her sire was deer/grey x collie/grey and dam was deer/grey x whippet.

 

She will see a bit of work this season so fingers crossed :thumbs:

you will only think the hacksaw blade is good until you see what a Furminator can do in a quarter of the time.........pm Millet......

A zoom groom and a deshedding blade mate a few sessions and youll be able to see your reflection in your dogs coat ;) dog looks good by the way have a pup the same age on at the moment cant wait for the season ;)
