Always enough scent keep dogs busy public footpath to a farm, few fancy houses backing onto footpath. Busy main road before footpath but boss lives in one of these posh houses so park there so straight on footpath ideal routine walk. Cat f*kd it up this morning. Spotted it from distance got lurcher back on lead but terrier winded it. Ran in posh garden baying against internal fence for what felt like ten mins with cat on fence. Can see through fence gap owner staring out of bifolds but cant get through/over fence. Eventually come back only for suicidal cat decide run down footpath towards main road. Soft lad straight over and hunting up hedge that lines this path other side road. Me jockeying 20m stretch of road try and grab him before he comes onto road. Eventually got through hedge get him! Lesson learnt always worth breaking to cats. Even though soft as f*ck with our cat and submissive even. Chilled morning dog walk enjoying early light didnt go to plan but could of ended real sh*t. 4 Quote Link to post
