There was a program on the potato famine couple of years back it showed photos etc of migrants leaving ireland bound for liverpool were some stayed one photo showed a child stood in the background-with a black terrier. Ive searched archives. In the museam to no avail. It was. Very fell like , My research take me down the avenue. Every time. Were ever the cuts were dug ( canal ) or rail lines. Were laid. Tunnels dug. Terriers followed. The canals ran right up the coast. The rail ways and tunnels also bringing. Navies. And there. Dogs. The terriers that were already in these areas.
