oneredtrim 148
Wonder what Neville's opinion is now, this is from december "I'm sorry, but for me Manchester United are timeless. As a club they stand against the immediacy of modern life. And there is nothing to suggest that the Glazer family will not uphold those same values. They handed David Moyes a six-year contract and everyone who believes in traditional principles in life should be applauding that. So I don't even want to answer the questions about David Moyes's future. I think it's an insult." "In time, he will answer that fully by proving himself. And, while time may be a commodity in short supply at some clubs, that should never be the case at Manchester United" http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/footba ... z2zWrWueE4
oneredtrim 148
There are still plenty of Trafford supporting fans inside of Manchester that spit on the floor when the new-age Sky crowd chat about family, class and traditions, reminding everyone within earshot "they turfed dead players familys out of thier club houses after munich, then let a couple stay when they had the press in tow and realised the propaganda value, class....f**k off n'all" Edited April 23, 2014 by oneredtrim

gnasher16 31,283
Yeah AJ Colback Wickham Catts But can't see Woy picking many Northerners to play for London in Brazil A....Thats why your not a football manager. B....Why would we take 3 attacking midfielders who can barely score a goal for their club let alone their country C....You really need to try to let go of this hang up you have about London.....its the most important City in the country....get over it
THE STIFFMEISTER 16,784
If I was a united board member....I'd be looking at that young lad at Southampton with very interesting eyes.. Good football, the right ethos, just maybe hang slack on the big spends, maybe coax shaw and lalanna with him for £10 mill a piece.... Why not? Nothing to loose

Think they need experienced manager who's been there done it already. Think the board n utd fans would prob rather giggsy and his 92 team than young manager from else where. THE STIFFMEISTER 16,784
Giggs won't be involved at united at any level next season
lanesra 4,007
Good Shout Stiffmeister , Though I Think They Think They Need "A Name" Which I Think Isn't The Case . . With The Egos Off Players Today They Need A Man Who Will Be Strong & Let Them No Who's The Boss , Bring In His Own Players As The Majority Off The 1s There Have Lost There X Factor , So Its Out With The Old & In With The New Who Will Respect The New Man & Work For Him Not Against Him , Moyes Was On A Hiding To Nothing Takin Over From A Living Legend With An Team Who Have Looked At Best Average Yet Are The Title Holders , The Ability Can't Go Over Night So Something Was Wrong . . Giggs As Manager ?? Be Like Letting Him Chaperone The Wags . . You Just Wouldn't !!
Themoocher 231
Giggs won't be involved at united at any level next season More chance of giggs than the Southampton manager.
blackmaggie 3,377
you could say the same about Martinez stiff I think they will go for someone like that dutch manager or klopp but if you try and change to much to soon has moyes found out it doesn't always work but it does need rebuilding but who ever comes in will have to get that winning feeling back whilst replacing a few who are just not good enough but atleast they wont have the stigma of replacing fergie I think its a massive job whoever gets it
WILF 49,621
Like all brands, you need names or someone who is about to break onto the scene........you are all talking like Man U is a football club, it's not !.......it's a brand that happens to play football. That's why a "brand" like Virgin uses Usian Bolt and not Graham Taylor to advertise and the manager Branson is as big a name as any of them. The whole premier league (syndicated around the globe) suffered because this 1 club didn't do well !!........1 club !! That's much more than just a Saturday kick about. Get with the programme boys
lanesra 4,007
Giggs won't be involved at united at any level next season More chance of giggs than the Southampton manager. And That Would Be Good ?? He Has NO Experience , Forget His Ability As A Footballer That Gives Him No God Given Right As A Manager Look Keane , Bruce , Hughes Ect The Lot Off Them Haven't Shown The Style Knowledge Pochettino Has . . The Southampton Manager Pochettino Has Worked Wonders with The Southampton Players , His Style Has Put 4 Off Them In The Reckoning For Brazil Barring Injury & He Can Hardly Speak English But Football Is A Language In Itself To Those Switched On , How Many Teams Can Rival That ? His Style Off Play Would Suit Man.U But As I Said He's Not A Big Name !!
WILF 49,621
I will tell you who understands, Abramovich ! Why bin off what's his name after he just won the champions league ?.........bacause having Mourinho is worth more money to the brand. That's it, Di Matteo.....his name just came back to me ! Lol Edited April 23, 2014 by WILF
THE STIFFMEISTER 16,784
I suppose they should appoint a conglomerate from the Neville's through to becks and giggsy ?? I'm sure that's what the Stretford reds of Basildon want however in the real world, it's all been seen before...dalgleish and Barnes at Celtic? Shearer at Newcastle? It's not a long term thing and giggs might loose his ride at the end of the season full time rather than sitting quietly at the back waiting on his stop Liverpool gambled on a manager with youth and the right ethos and that's not turned out too shabby? Van gaal would be a fool to take it on at this time, with a World Cup looming ahead and very little turn around before the season considering the huge rebuild required Ancellotti? Maybe, big ask for the fans though, would be like Benitez rocking up What's rikjard up to? I can see a young manager getting it although perhaps if things go wrong dahn at the bridge...I could see that clown quite easily at old Trafford , if he behaved himself, they are a perfect match , His loyalty is questionable, he's certainly arrogant enough and confident enough to take the flak But again that would be a 2 - 3 year thing,.... I think they'll shock and go for a younger guy with drip fed funds, any team with mata And Rooney in can be built on, a good consistent striker (benteke?) a battler in mid (Barkley?) and a good centre half to steady the shop and they could be up and running again
Malt 379
Can't see how United fans would have a problem with Ancelloti, he's a good manager.. His time in England and the nature of the manager position at Chelsea is nothing like the situation with Benitez IMO..
