Oh your building it from pallets.......well my advice is to do what you like, it will be f****d in a year....lol

:laugh: aye, he's got 3x3 posts and 2 4x4 posts for the gate, the slats are from pallets. It's going to be about 30 feet long and 6 foot high and so far he has stripped 8 pallets out of 15, I can't see it being enough :laugh:

Where the hell did he find 6ft pallets for the slats?

The pallets will be 5x4....the fence will be a foot of the ground....lol

maybe he will make a trellis out of the privet branches and sticky backed plastic

I'm hoping for a photo...lol

remember my old grandad building a shed out of pallets and old doors/window frames etc many yrs back. me nan would nag him about it lol. in 1987 when the gales hit, it was the only f***ing thing left standing on the street! when he died, me nan had me and me brother round to take the f****r down, as she wanted a nice new shed. was a hard days graft pulling that f****r down i can tell ye, left alone, i recon it would still be there in a hundred years lol!...

Grandad's didn't used to build things by half! :D My auntie had a new fence put in a few years back and they had to take a concrete post up that my grandad had put in years ago. When they finally levered it out the ground there was about a metre square of concrete stuck to the bottom of it! :laugh:

My dad made a pallet fence hes been dead a while now but the fence is still standing , he used to fill a forty five gallon drum with old engine oil and creosote and dip all the wood and stabs in it for a fortnight before he used them

Apparently a bunch of Sunderland supporters bumped into one of the chuckle bros whilst down the smoke and dragged him on the piss with them

Supposedly pics of them all holding a Sunderland flag up on some website. ?

about 15 year ago my brother bought there van it was still sign written him n his mate went to watch stock racing when they got out some bloke said your not the fooking chuckle brothers ---he`d followed them after autographs .. :laugh:
