Maybe keep a few birds about the place in his honour and see them as an enjoyment rather than a stone round your neck..

Nik_B 3,791
My Gran was brilliant, she lived in the East End, run over by a bus and lost a leg when she was a teenager, lost her husband when my dad was only 3, worked her whole life and never complained about anything, never accepted benefits and lived to 90 years old. I'd love to be able to talk to her again, we named our 2nd daughter after her. I'd have liked to meet my grandad on my dad's side as well.

You having a dilemma mate? You need to ask yourself two questions, do you need the money or are you happy the way things are the now? Money isn't everything, happiness is. I'm sure your grandad wants to see you happy no matter what you do.

MoChara 1,632
Im going for the present (still living) I would choose to sit with my mum, people will come and go - but she will never cease to amaze me. Most caring person ive ever known and will probably ever know. She would give everything she had to anyone to help them. Thats one hour of her company that id be glad i have had with her when the time comes when i cant just go and see her anymore. Bosun11 537
At first I never though about a relation, I suppose I was lucky enough to say plenty to my 'ol man and him to me. So, who else.... Maybe Bert Gripton, James Arichigo or Frederick Rolf.
