KittleRox 2,147 Posted January 23, 2014 Report Share Posted January 23, 2014 When I looked out the window this morning it was a wee bitty wild so I half expected Whin to phone and cancel, however he turned up and off we went, he had Meg with him and I took the collie cur Roxy and the whippet Cass, I was half expecting it to be a day of freezing your nuts off and not much bolting but it turned out to be a day to remember. We stayed off the exposed hillsides and worked down " in de valleys " where it was more sheltered. The ferrets were working well and the rabbits were bolting quite quickly. We never netted much to be honest and if we did we were only doing half the holes so the dogs caught most. The whippet usually gets done by the collie cur Rox when it comes to bolters but she had her fair share as well today catching most of the long range bunnies, all three dogs done well, so a day which I thought was going to be miserable turned out grand.
