Just wondering dose there be racing for the terriers as well. I've only been to a few of the shows last year and plan on getting to as much as I can this year. Missed the racing at the ones ive been to. atb with the show jack

Champion whippet goes forward to the Five Nations WHIPPET Championships at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle on the 29th June.

 

Champion Terrier & Lurcher go forward to the Five Nations TERRIER & LURCHER Championships at the IRISH GAME & COUNTRY FAIR, Birr Castle on the 24th August..

Tommy, are you not having seperate classes for the Whippets. You have a qualifer for the five Nations for Whippets. To give Whippets North and South of the border their fair share in the qualifer, same as Terriers and Lurchers in the show ring. I would suggest you should have the following classes for Whippets.

 

Whippet Pups

Dog/ Bitch

 

1/ Whippet Bitch

2/ Whippet Dog

3/ Working Whippet Bitch

4/ Working Whippet Dog

5/ Vetern Whippet

6/ Whippet Pairs

 

Overall Champion Whippet.

 

I will find out if Vetern Whippets qualify for 5 Nations or not. I definately know there is an age limit. I will enquire about pups also, and come back to you. Hope this helpful information for you Tommy.
