sandymere 8,263
. What it also has a psychological effect feck this is a wonder treatment for every thing!!!! But wait a minute it’s not used in psychiatry either I wonder why not. As to one recovering faster than another that pretty normal again why are these not used in medicine etc I can only take you really believe every single Dr, Surgeon and orthopedic surgeon are ether stupid or ignorant, or a few people have fooled themselves into seeing what the believe and have now got to the point where they will not see anything else no matter what the evidence Ps getting bored now answer the question any one, you know the why not in the NHS etc??? We are easy to fool but good research less so. Researchers at the New York College of Podiatric Medicine have reported negative results in a study of patients with heel pain. Over a 4-week period, 19 patients wore a molded insole containing a magnetic foil, while 15 patients wore the same type of insole with no magnetic foil. In both groups, 60% reported improvement, which suggested that the magnetic foil conveyed no benefit [5]. Researchers at the VA Medical Center in Prescott, Arizona conducted a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled, crossover study involving 20 patients with chronic back pain. Each patient was exposed to real and sham bipolar permanent magnets during alternate weeks, for 6 hours per day, 3 days per week for a week, with a 1-week period between the treatment weeks. No difference in pain or mobility was found between the treatment and sham-treatment periods [6]. Researchers at the Mayo Clinic compared the effects of wearing magnetic or sham-magnetic cushioned insoles over an 8-week period by 101 people with heel pain and found no difference between the treatment and control groups Caselli MA and others. wi11ow 2,657
If you've not used it, don't knock it. Our bedlington lurcher couldn't travel on long journeys, she'd pant, froth at the mouth & generally be shit scared, so I bought a 240 converter to 12 volt, and let her travel in my large mag-box set on number 3, & abracadabra, it calmed her down, we even seen her laid on her back chilling out. Another example, afew years ago doubled 2 of our dogs up on a very hard mornings coursing over at my mates at Lincoln, both dogs returned back to the motor knackered, when we got home put Tay in the mag-box for 12 hrs and left Penny on her bed, the next morning Tay was scratching his feet ready for some more work, where,as Penny was as stiff as a crutch, and I've done it the other way round with the same results. I'm not on commission for the companies that sell these I personally don't give a flying fook wether you believe they work or not. They don't perform miracles, but they help and not one word of this was googled sowhat unless they try they wont see i can name vets / bone men that say use them I NO THEY WORK and thats all that matters my dogs feel the benifits of them and mag collars for sale Quote Link to post

stabba 10,745
The simple reason these products are not used by the NHS and such is there is no money in it. The big pharmacutical company's would go under in a matter of months. Likewise if taking a handfull of grass every morning with your weetabix cured cancer. It'd never be revealed simply because the money lost would be staggering. Billions and Billions are generated by pharmacutical companies and if it magically came out that magnetic stuff did work this country and other countries would see a dramatic fall in lost revenue from drugs. Take the guy who ran a big machine on a couple of little batteries. His machine soon disappeared and nothing else heard on the matter. Big cooporations running the monopoly on certain products and whoa betitde anyone who trys to get in their way. A few mates use the mag boxes with seemingly good results. 2 Quote Link to post

I've used this therapy on my dogs for over 30 yrs, I've bred & owned some top quality working/coursing/racing dogs, and most have lived to a ripe old age with a good quality of life, not having to live their twilight years filled with steroids & pain killers. Just got back from a 2 hour mooch and my 12 yr old whippet never stopped working, he is now chilling in the mag-box and will be ready to go tomorrow full of life with his kennel mates. Just throwing the idea out there. Just as an aside. We can cure all manner of nasty ailments. Yet no common cold cure. Could this be due to the money generated from so called sympton easers??? see money does and will always override rational thought . Greed is a terrible trait(except food ) 1 Quote Link to post
