andyfr1968 772
Well as it was hoofing it down and blowing a gale for most of the day, our trip to the farm was cancelled. Instead we spent the afternon plinking so that my boys could get to grips with their rifles. My old computer has issues posting photos so I emailed them to Moxy who will post them up for me when he can. Cheers. 4 Quote Link to post

andyfr1968 772
Thanks, Mick Starting at the top. Top of the pic is my HW90, EB 6x44, Stealth mod (shit as a moderator but the balance of the rifle is lovley). Second gun down is Toby's Hatsan 55S. A lovely little EB 4x32 scope from Webster. Welsh Willie tuning kit and a lot of work to the internals. This gun was a gift to him and was brand new. The standard internal finish is total shite. Grease where there shouldn't have been and sod-all where there should. Swarf and rough edges all over the thing and rust (!!) on the piston and cylinder. After a fair bit of work though, it's tunred out to be a decent enough rifle. Bottom one is the . Pianoman's action in Webster's stock. Leapers 2-7x32 scope and I've not a clue what the mod is, it's been kicking around my mate's workshop for years. Works well enough though. Second photo is my eldest (Oscar) who's totally made up with his new . It really has made his Christmas. Thankyou so much, lads. Bottom is Toby with his hand-me-down Hatstand. Again, he loves it. And thanks to both of you. (You know who you are...) Edit to add.... The odd scope in the pic is Webster's old Hawk Nite-Eye 3-12x50. I'm going to give that a go on my 90 and hope that it doen't wreck another Hawke..... Edited December 23, 2013 by andyfr1968 1 Quote Link to post
Elliott 436
Hi Andy, that '90 looks the business. I used to shoot my cousin's around 12 years or so ago and loved it, one hell of an accurate rifle 1 Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,589
they both look happy glad i could help out Me too Webster. I love shooting with these two lovely lads and Andy is a great dad to them -and a great pal to me . I really didn't want to give my rifle away but, I want to see the boys properly set up with decent rifles to go with dad's excellent advice. And if this helps to get them shooting responsibly with bags of accuracy and reliability in reserve, I'm more than delighted! And, besides, I already own one of the very finest .22 HW80s, HW97K and HW77s Weihrauch ever made. All serviced, tuned and maintained perfectly by my dear mate here Best wishes for Christmas Andy, Oscar and Toby! Simon and Helen XXX Edited to add...Any danger of Paul finishing me early HW77 stock Andy? Give him a push, there's a laddie! Edited December 24, 2013 by pianoman 3 Quote Link to post
andyfr1968 772
Thanks, lads. My boys are made up. We've not had chance to get out properly yet but hopefully it'll be soon. Simon. Sorry for the delay, I've been away for a few days and have not had internet access. I'll give Paul a shout this evening, mate. Him and his family have been away over Christmas but they're back now. Give me a ring when you get the chance. All the best for the new year and please give our regards to Helen. Edited December 30, 2013 by andyfr1968 1 Quote Link to post
