If you could choose 5 rifles which calibres do you think are the most versitile to cover the spectrum and would give you virtually a rifle for any occasion? I'll start.... I have three of the calibres below the ones I don't have are the hornet and 30/06. Seriously, 338 Lapua is the must have long range calibre if you can get it. Unfortunately the good reason table means most would never get a grant. If I had to list 5 calibres to cover any situation then: .22 LR Bolt Action (for stealth) .17 HMR / WSM (long range rimfire duties) .223 Fox .30-06 Deer .338 Lapua for shooting round at Paulas's House!
