Not big enough to handle charging rhino. Go for a Remington SP10 poke for goose shooting, and 10guage solid slugs just in case you get tangled up with a hippo on the foreshore. Load some nice little 2 ounce 6's for pigeons. Rifles. ianm 2,594 Posted July 30, 2016 Report Share Posted July 30, 2016 Well for me my list is, .22 fac air for squirrels rats pigeons etc. .22 l/r for quietly despatching rabbits. .17 Hornet for longer range rabbits, crows, fox etc. .204 for dedicated n/v for fox. 30/06 for Deer, boar and anything else likely to be encountered.
