Sounds just about right,...hunting gear with dirt dawgs and curs,...my most favourite pastime...   Bushing and Mouching,...Sport of Kings...

Aye Darren they sure provide fun lol see what tomorrow brings lol they are all between 16 and 19 ats. The easiest pups I ever had pleasure of training. We niticed today they tried swapping roles a couple of times I think it's cos there was another new terrier brought out with us that was also a natural searcher. It's still early days tho for these youngsters and they got a long way to go till I'll be happy but I do think they are showing all the right signs. Out tomorrow for a bit of fun bolting bunnys to them, no no nets no lurchers just the wee dogs and ferrets, it'll give experience and a bit of fitness if nowt else haha

Will be intresting to see how these get on..sure with the collie and terrier in there theyl be a jack of all trades when your finished training them up.after something similar my self something that I could train for bushing through the day then maybe a bitt of ratting, then for picking up to the gun at night when out shooting ferral pigeons.was going get another spanniel but the price tagg of them and the fact that they work mute can also be a pain when pushing to lurchers

That's exact what I bred these for, multi purpose mutts. In do get on with collies and terriers in general and don't really get on with spaniels, they make me dizzy watching them lol that's the reason I tried them

lol yea watching thm going round and round can get annoying was thinking of going along the lines of terrier x spaniel but there's always that chance of them going to ground.especial if the terrier used is from digging stock.where as with collie x terrier I think theyl strugle getting to ground.however I supose some pups in A litter will go more to the terrier size and be able to gett in bigger setts.
